Palette & Palate

Our Story

Palette & Palate is a curated cultural experience that brings art, food, and community together in a shared moment.

Created as an extension of our belief that creativity can open conversations and build connection, Palette & Palate invites people to slow down, engage with art in an intimate setting, and experience culture through multiple senses. It is not about spectacle or scale, but about thoughtful encounters  between artists, chefs, spaces, and audiences.

Each edition is designed with care, shaped by the people involved, and grounded in the idea that art and hospitality can be powerful tools for connection and social impact. Palette & Palate is a series of curated events that pair visual art with food and drink, creating immersive experiences that celebrate creativity, place, and storytelling. “Palette” represents the artists, artworks, and creative voices shaping each experience. “Palate” reflects the culinary partners, shared meals, and sensory moments that bring people together around the table.

Together, they form an environment where art is not just viewed, but felt, discussed, and experienced alongside others.

Meet the artists of our next event

Elaheh Amini Tirani

Elaheh Amini Tirani is a Melbourne-based ceramic artist and the founder of Elma Studio, with a background in painting and a Master of Fine Arts. Her work explores the dialogue between form, texture, and materiality, creating both sculptural and functional ceramic pieces that bring art into everyday life. Raised in Iran, she draws inspiration from organic forms, natural rhythms, and the quiet beauty of landscapes. Her practice blends hand-built ceramic forms with a painter’s sensibility, using layers of slip, texture, and glaze to create depth and movement. Through her work, Elaheh explores the balance between imperfection and harmony, allowing each piece to carry a sense of individuality and human touch.

Holly Bryant-Spaulding

Holly, also known as Yung Florals, is a Naarm-based floral designer who uses fresh flowers and foliage as a medium to explore the limits of conventional floristry. Beginning her practice in a traditional learning setting, she was drawn to unique and lesser-known floral materials, making it her goal to introduce people to flowers they may not have encountered before. By mixing unexpected colour palettes and contrasting textures, Holly creates visually striking arrangements that function as both floral design and sculptural artworks.

Eira-Shay Barker-Hart

Eira-Shay is an emerging artist based on Yugambeh land. As a self-taught painter, she has developed a distinctive style by merging traditional oil painting techniques with natural materials on raw timber. Her ethereal works are shaped by a poetic use of light and emotional storytelling, acting as a form of visual record-keeping. Through her practice, Eira-Shay explores themes of mysticism, love, femininity, and the interconnected relationship between self and nature.
