Ashton Wastney is an abstract figurative artist from Nelson, New Zealand, who began studying design in Wellington and has been based in Melbourne, Australia since 2018. His painting practice uses anatomy as a foundation for abstraction, approaching each work without premeditation or fixed intention. Through instinctive mark making, Ashton explores the subconscious, allowing chance, emotion, and physiological form to surface, revealing distorted states of mental clarity, perception, and consciousness.

Carmen is a multidisciplinary artist, mother, and university student living and working in the Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne on Wurundjeri Country. Moving away from traditional portraiture in 2023, her current practice focuses on capturing emotional depth and exploring the significance of identity within an often volatile and changing world.

Kasia is an artist based in Naarm (Melbourne) whose practice is shaped by growing up in Western Sydney as the child of refugee parents. Influenced by street culture, graffiti, and contemporary pop art, she blends bold visual language with personal narratives of identity and belonging. Her work has been exhibited at The Other Art Fair and Affordable Art Fair, alongside numerous group exhibitions, and she has collaborated with brands including 35mm Co. and the University of New South Wales, as she continues to push her creative boundaries and build community through art.

Simona is a floral artist whose practice is guided by seasonality, sustainability, and an intuitive approach to design. Working with local and seasonal blooms, and drawing inspiration from art, architecture, fashion, and design, she creates rambling, organic arrangements that reflect the rhythms of nature. Each sculptural composition responds to the materials available, celebrating imperfection, movement, and the quiet poetry of the natural world.

Zsofia is a Hungarian-born textile and visual artist and educator based in Melbourne, whose practice is deeply informed by the natural world and a strong commitment to social justice. Working with wire, fibre, and mixed media, she creates sculptural works that explore connection to wilderness, belonging, and resilience, often reflecting the lived experiences of displaced communities. Holding a Master’s degree in woven textile design, Zsofia regularly exhibits her work, leads weaving workshops from her home studio, and is an Associate Artist at Ondru.org, a Melbourne-based humanitarian and arts organisation.
